September 8th, 1986 /154 A Public Hearing Pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Counci|! Chamber, Port Coguittam City Hall on Monday, September 8th, 1986, at 7:30 pom. His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay, Aldermen M.C, Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R, Wright in attendance, Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R, Kirk, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, Deputy City Engineer/Operations Manager T.M, Chong, P. Eng., Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown and Parks & Recreation Director K.eJ. Taylor. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: BL/01/86/09/08/01 Bylaw No. 2200: To rezone Lot B, District Lots 232 and 384, Group One, Plan 5257, Except: Firstly: Parcel 1 (Reference Plan 16837), Secondly: Part subdivided by Plan 28467 and Thirdly: Part subdivided by Pian 31203, New Westminster District, from RS-2 (Single Family Residential) to RS-1A (Single Family Residential). The property Is addressed as 1575 Pitt River Road and is located at the S.E. corner of Pitt River Road and Pooley Avenue, The following people were present and expressed their views on the proposed rezoning. Bruce Dutkewich, 205] Pooley Avenue, advised he was in favour of RS-1 but not RS-1A and that he is opposed to lots smaller than the lots existing in the neighbourhood. Gerald DeLaurier, 2021 Pooley Avenue, advised he Is opposed to having narrow lots in the proposed subdivision. Bruce Dutkewich, 2051 Pooley Avenue, asked whether Pooley Avenue would be paved and curbed along the proposed subdivision. Deputy City Engineer T.M. Chong advised Pooley Avenue would be paved and curbed, Norman Hall, 1584 Pitt River Road, advised he ts opposed to 40! lots.
