Mr. Larry Watt, property owner - 2959 Coast Meridian Road, made a
presentation to Counci| advising that the vacant property has been a
longstanding problem.of unsightly property and insects and that he is in
favour of the proposed development.

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That rezoning application R#19/84 for property addressed as 1520
Coquitlam Avenue be denied.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman. Wright suggested that the rezoning application be referred back
to the Planning & Zoning Committee for further study regarding a site

plan.
