BYLAW NO. 1983 “MAY 30 1989

A Bylaw to amend the "Advanced
Pol! Bylaw, 1969, No. 956:

The Municipal Council! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

Section 2 of the "Advanced Pol! Bylaw, 1969, No. 956" is repealed and the
following substituted therefor: ,

"2. An Advanced Pol! shall be opened by the Returning Officer or by a Deputy
Re furning Officer or Poll Clerk appointed by him for that purpose, for al]
elections, inciuding submissions to the electors, in some convenient place
at the Port Coquitiam Branch of the Fraser Valley Regional Library, 2470
Mary Hill Road, Port Coquitlam, B.C. and shal! be kept open .

(a) from 12:60 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday of the week previous to the
week in which polling day occurs, and

(b) from 10:00 asm. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday cf the week previous to the
week in which Polling Day occurs, and

(c) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on every business day preceding Polling Day.

This Bylaw may be cited for al! purposes as the "Advanced Poll Bylaw, 1989, No,
956, Amendment Byiaw, 1983, No. 1983".
