Damages of $300 were to two homes. In each case it was slight damaze; one to a
bed when an electric lamp fell on the mattress igniting it, the other to a base~
Ment workshop when-a switch shorted igniting insulation. No dollar damage hes
been assessed to a C.P.eR. coach which was damaged when an overheated coke stove
ignited the wall and got into the false ceiling. ‘Two other fires started in a
vacant shack on the Lewis property.

22 inhalator calls: 3 motor vehicle accidents, 13 home emergencies which included
heart attacks, 2 elderly people collapsed in their homes, a lady had a reaction

from cosmetics, a child with a high fever, a lady haemorrhaging, a lady with breathe
ing problems, a man intoxicated, a stroke and a boy suffering from osteomylites in
the knee. Two overdoses, 2 skaters injured at the Sports Centre. Two industrial :
accidents; one in which a man feil from a 25 foot high roof and suffered multiple
injuries and in the other a workman broke a ieg when a heavy object dropped on it.

The siren was sounded twice and in each case the crew on duty was on another
inhalator call.
