Northwest Training Centre

GENERAL INFORMATION

Deinstitutionalization of Mentally Handicapped in-
dividuals is ‘the philosophy of the provincial govern-
ment. In light of this, more people are needed to help
meet the challenge of integration into the community.
This training program is for individuals who wish to
develop the basic skills necessary to work with mental-
ly handicapped individuals in the community.

PELKEY CLARENCE AUGUSTUS
passed away January 18, 1991 at the
| age of 88, Survived by his toving wife
Marjorie, daughters Jean Flaherty,
Gail McCall, Sandra Saulie, one son
Leonard, 15 grandchildren, 14 great
grandchildren and 4 sisters. Mr. Pel-
key was born In Bracebridge On-
tarlo, and marrled Marjorie in 1929
at Cranbrook. He joined the North-
west Mounted Police (NWMP) in
1919 and was one of the members of
the musical ride. The family wish to
express thelr sincere thanks and
gratitude to Dr. Redpath, the am-
bulance crew, Rey. Stan Balley and
to our many friends who helped with
the refreshments. Memorial Ser-
vices were held January 23rd at
McKays Funeral Chapel with Rev.
Bailey officiating. Cremation took
place at the Terrace Crematorium.
