The Timbermen didn’t fare much better Sunday either, as the Smithers Totems ran up a 5-0 score after two periods, then coasted to an easy 10-3 win ‘over Terrace, Totem onslaught with the game's first goal a power play effort at 6:24 of the first period. Gord Young added another power play goal for Smithers at 14:36, and it was still reasonably close, 2-0 after one, - Dan Skinner made it 30 when he connected at 4:43 of the second, and though Terrace was behind, they were still in the game. Though it opened on December 4th, the ski hili was originally scheduled to open earlier. A lack of snow at the time forced a post- ponement, but the hill iz now open and all systems are go. “We had a late start, but a ‘good one,” commented Jos Konst, The earlier lack of snow is no more, and at this moment the ski hill has the best skiing conditions in their four year history.
