Re: Provincial Electoral Boundaries - Resdistribution Hearings

The Council will recall that a Hearing is being held at the Court House,
Maple Ridge, on Wednesday, September 17th, 1975 at 10:00 a.m. respecting

the above-noted matter.

Mayor Campbell has suggested that the City present a Brief indicating that
Council would like to see one Electoral District established between the
Pitt and Coquitlam Rivers. Mayor Campbell estimates that there must be
at least 35,000 people in this area with the building of the OxBow and
Burke Mountain Developments and that it is a natural geographic area that

should be considered.
