$ fae mag pivedees vag, 11.7.2. a "Preventive Maintenance and Testing Schedule" supplement, designed for the fire emergency components and systems; a comprehensive "Fire Safety Plan" approved by the Fire Chief for communication, evacuation and operation of the fire emergency system; 11.7.4. a "Maintenance Log Book" designed to meet the intent of subsection 11.7.2. Where a building permit has been issued for a single family residence, the owner may apply for permission to occupy the building prior to completion of construction, which permission may be withheld until the building or part thereof complies with the health and safety requirements of the bylaws of the City or of any statute. ; SWIMMING POOLS. Every application for a building permit for a swimming pool shall be accompanied with a plan showing the location of the proposed pool and all water supply piping, waste piping and appurtenances, and all structural detail. Pool waste water shall be disposed of to the sanitary sewer as approved by the Plumbing Inspector. The type of disposal proposed shall be approved by the Plumbing Inspector prior to the commencement of any work. Any structure designed or constructed as a swimming pool, wading pool or pond of a depth at any point in excess of 0.75 metres shall be surrounded by a fence no less than: 12.3.1. 1.2 metres in height if the pool structure was in existence on August 9th 1977, 12.3.2. 1.8 metres in height if the pool structure was not in existence on August 9th, 1977, and the fence shall be constructed either on the property line or surrounding the pool or pond in such a manner as to render the pool or pond safe from unauthorized entry. All gates to a pool or ponds shall be operated by a spring hinge aad latch mounted on the inside of the gate. Every fence enclosing a swimming pool shall be. maintained by the Owner or occupier of real property in good order and repair, and adequate to perform its intended function. All sagging gates, loose parts, worn latches and locks and breken or binding members shall be, promptly and adequately replaced and repaired.
