Remove the 'No Trucks' restriction on Mary Hill Road. 60 Kmh Speed on Mary Hill Road Mary Hill Road between Fastern and the Mary Hill Bypass has a pavement width of 14 metres, with lines painted for two lanes of travel in each direction. The existing speed limit is 50. kmh, With .a 60 kmh speed — limit, a minimum sight stopping distance of 85 metres is required. This distance is easily maintained on this section road. For a RCU classified road, this radius would allow for a maximum design speed in excess of 100 kmh. 1 The controlling vertical crest curve has a K value of 27.7, which would allow for a 70 kmh posted speed. The controlling sag vertical curves has a K value of 15, which again allows a maximum design speed of 70 kmh, Parking Restriction on-Mary Hill Road Mary Hill Road. is classified as Municipal arterial with two 3.5 metre lanes in each direction. Yo maintain travel in both lanes, a 'No Parking Anytime! restriction should be placed on both sides of the road, as shown | on the attached plan.
