November 24th, 1980,

Alderman Traboulay suggested that due to the inclusion of two
duplex lots in the Proposed subdivision, in an area where there were
already several duplexes, a Public Information Mecting should first be
held but Alderman Ranger stated that as the duplex construction would be
within the City's policy for such matters he did not feel a Publ ie
Information Meeting was necessary. Alderman Traboulay, with the support
of Alderman Mabbett, Proposed a resolution that would strike out the
words "Public Hearing" from the Committee's recommendation and insert
the words "Public Information Meeting" but His Worship stated that as
this wouid be contrary to the intent of the original vesolutjon thin
was not an acceptable amendment.
