‘THE CORPORATION GF THE CIETY OF PORT COQUITLAM SEP i 0 1979 ‘ BY-LAW NO. 1702 G&T + 19749 A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to dispose of a walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43857, District Lot 232, Group One, New Westminster District in exchange for sufficient land to relocate the said walkway. . WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43557, District Lot 232, Group One, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province cf British Columbia; AND WHERFAS the kegistéred Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands comprising the walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43857, District Lot 232, Group One, New Westminster District, to be cancelled; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council nay by By-law dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands’ as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; . NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open mecting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Cwner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land end premiscs * which may be more particularly described as foiloys: All that portion of walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43857 in District Lot 232, Group One, New Westminster District having an area of 0.0099 ha., included within the green outline on a By-law Plan sworn by Robert M. Reese, B.C.L.S. and dated the 19th day of June, 1979, a copy of which is attached hercto at or for the price or sum of One Pollar ($1.00) and in exchange for these cortain pareels or tracts of land deseribed in the next Section hercol. ‘ .
