That as recommended by the Leisure Activities Committee, February
lst, 1979 the indoor pool operation be reduced in the following manner:
That the indoor pool be closed on Statutory Holidays;
That the Early Bird Swim be cancelled;
AND THAT the evening Aquafit be cancelled.
Carried.
Alderman Wright voted against the resolution.

The Recreation Director advised the school programs would not be

affected. Discussion then ensued.

From the Leisure Activities Committee, February lst, 1979 recommending
that the Centennial Pool and Robert Hope Pool run on a 5 day operation
for 8 hours per day.

Ist, 1979 the Centennial Pool and Robert Hope Pool run on a 5 day operation

for 8 hours per day.

that the two learner pools be reduced from a 6 hour operation to a 4

hour operation per day.

ist, 1979 the two learner pools be reduced from a 6 hour operation to a

4 hour operation per day.

From the Leisure Activities Committee, February Ist, 1979 recommending
that all outdoor pools be closed on Statutory Holidays with the only
exception being that Centennial Pool will remain open on July lst, 1979
due to the Kinsmen Sport Festival.
