KITCHENER, Ont, (CP) — Brian Kilrea may be
coaching in the National Hockey League next year, but it
won't be with Toronto Maple Leafs,

It had been reported Kilrea, who has been coach of
Ottawa 67s for 10 years, had been talking with Leaf
management and had sold his Ottawa home.

Kilrea, however, denied both rumors.

Gerd Stellick, an executive assistant with the Leafs,:
said Toronto would accept an application from Kilrea, but. {
hasn’t talked with him and has no plans to do so. ,
