CQ.1314-2 1979 MAR 20 Mr. R.A. LeClair, Municipal Manager, District of Coquitlam, 1111 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam, B.C. V3K 1E9 Dear Sir: Re: Office Accommodation This has reference to your letter of 1979 03 08. It is indeed unfortunate that a further delay in obtaining adequate office space for the Detachment is now in the offing. As you are aware, most of our sections have insufficient space for their current needs. However, I recognize the current situation with respect to the court facilities ~ they simply have no place to go until the new facility is erected. I have carefully examined our space allocation requirements and we would require a mobile-type unit of a minimum of 800 square feet for the area near our back door. This unit will house our Crime Prevention Unit (10 members). This will free up the current area they are occupying for use as a meeting room, line up room, training room, and emergency disasters control room. I would like to have the mobile unit in place before summer as the working conditions for CPU members are presently untenable. The above should be our only requirement pro- viding our previously approved funds for office renovations are still available in this year's budget. Yours truly, Fa fo 4 LDopre os 7 a4 “RW.
