SUBJECT: Amendments to Traffic Bylaw

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Traffic Bylaw No. 1117 be amended by making
the following changes to the parking regulations in Section B:

a) That the words "Coquitlam River" be replaced by
the words "Maple Drive" wherever they occur for
the parking regulations on McAllister Avenue and
Marpole Avenue.

That the words "lane west of Coquitlam River" be

replaced by the words "Maple Drive" wherever they
occur for the parking restrictions on Whyte Avenue.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

The parking regulations as written in our existing
Bylaw are no longer valid because a new road has been
constructed on the east side of the river. It is necessary
to change the wording of the Bylaw so that our existing parking

regulations are valid.
