The Corporation shall assume and indemnify B. C. Hydro from any_ third party liabilities that may arise due to service interruptions resulting directiy or indirectly from the Corporation's activity within or adjacent to the right of way. The Corporation shall also pay B. C. Hydro for any and all losses B. ©. Hydro incurs which are directly or indirectly attributed to the Corporation's activity. The Corporation shall be responsible for any damage to B. C. Hydre's works including roads which occurs as a result of the Corporation: s construction, operation, use and maintenance of the encroachment within the right of way. B. €. Hydro's consent applies to Hydra's rights only. The Corporation shall obtain all necessary consents from all other parties with any interest in any affected property and shall comply with any applicable legislation and/or regulations. The terms and conditions in this consent are to be read in conjunction with the Statutory Right of Way Agreement charged or the land and shall not be construed as diminishing the terms of the right of way agreement. The Corporation shall adhere to all WCB rules and regulations pertaining to this type of work, specifically Section 24 of the Industrial Health and Safety Requlations. Crews must be aware they are working in the vicinity of a 60,000 volt transmission line. Men and equisment must not encroach within 3.0 metres of the transmission line conductor. Prior to commencement of work within the right of way, the Corporation shall contact H.J. Wanner, (Lower Mainland Transmission) at 469-8851, to arrange for an on-site meeting with the contractor. This on-site meeting is necessary to discuss safe working procedures while in the vicinity of energized high voltage transmission lines and the completion of WCB Form 30M33, if required for equipment activity. Access to and within and egress from the right of way shall be maintained at all times to B. C. Hydro personnel, their representatives and licensees. Ground elevations within the right of way shall not be altered by more than 0.5 metres from the original grade, without the prior written consent of B. C. Hydro. The Corporation shall not cause or permit to be caused any deterioration of soil stability or drainage patterns within or adjacent to the right of way. Upon completion of the project the right of way must be restored to the original condition or better to the satisfaction of B. C. Hydro Lower Mainiand Transmission at the Corporation's expense.
