After hearing opposition to the proposed golf --.course at Mount Layton Hot Springs, the Kitimat- — _ Stikine Regional District was going to look at land _ use at the south end of Lakelse Lake, with a view to - ~ possibly establishing a wildlife sanctuary... The Kitsumkalum Band Council was developing a campsite and boat launch on the reserve foreshore of the Kalum River and was looking forward to future developments that would bring about their goal of a tourism-based economy for the reserve...
