CL ia A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam BEC dispose of portions of dedicated road and lane in exchange for portions of lai? to be dedicated as road. WHEREAS the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling portions of road and lane shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia; WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has agreed to convey the said land to the City so that it may be established as an addition to the roads in the Clty. AND WHEREAS the “Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, provides: that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange: for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: Ll. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the lands described in the next Section hereof those portions of dedicated road and lane shown within the heavy outline (Parcel C with an area of 949 Sq.em., Parcel D with an area of 357 Sq.m., Parcel E with an area of 202 Sq.m., and Parcel F with an area of 61 sq.m.) in District Lots 174 and 289, Group One, New Westminster District on a plan certified by Allan Olsen, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the llth day of December, 1989, at or for the price or sum of $50,256.00 and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to purchase of and from the Registered Owner thereof those portions of land shown included within the heavy outline (Parcel A with an area of 343 Sq-m. and Parcel B with an area of 101 sq.m.) in District Lots 174 and 289, Group One, New Westminster District on a plan certified by Allan Olsen, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the lith day of December, 1989 at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land describe in the preceding Section hereof. A copy of the plan referred to in Serntion 1 and Section 2 hereof is attached to this bylaw and made a part hereof, Those portions of road and lane described in Section 1 hereof, are hereby closed and stopped up to traffic of all kinds. Those portions of land described in Section 2 hereof, when conveyed to the City, shall be established as additions to the roads in the City. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute such conveyances, deeds, maps, receipts and other documents on behalf of the Said City as may be necessary for the purposes aforesaid and to affix the Corporate Seal of the City thereto, This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Reeve Street/Pitt River Road Lane Road Exchange Bylaw, 1989, No. 2481".
