Rauh City Clerk Maintenance Bylaw (Protective Services Committee Meeting - November 2, 1994) That the proposed Property Maintenance Bylaw No. 2945, attached to the Council Agenda, be given first three readings. The current Property Maintenance Bylaw No. 2053 has not been reviewed or amended since 1984. In the proposed bylaw, a definition section has been added to clarify those positions appointed for the purpose of enforcing the bylaw. Also the definition of "unsightly" has been simplified and the reference to ’goods or merchandise offered for sale from residential properties’ has been removed as they are dealt with under the Zoning Bylaw. _ Other changes include the reorganization of wording so as to comply with Section 932 of the. Municipal Act as it is written today. 7 Section 6 introduces regulation for dust control, originating from private property, which will be particularly effective in high growth areas. The penaity section has been amended so that anyone convicted of an offence shall pay a fine and the costs of the prosecution, also, every day that there is an infraction of the bylaw shall constitute a separate offence. | | ne Susan Rauh
