Port Coquitlam hasn't had a senior secondary school built since 1973 (20 years) and a junior secondary school since 1978 (15 years), Considering our growth statistics (see attached chart) you can clearly see how acute the situation has become. The Provincial Government must release construction funds immediately. Below is a list of Port Coquitlam schools affected by the refusal of the province to release | capital funds.
