PoCo Recreation Centre, (the centre houses 2 arenas and a large meeting room, small meeting room, skate sharpening facilities and a good sized concession operation). Wilson Seniors Centre (the centre houses various meeting and program rooms, a pool room, a small cafe area and a commercial! kitchen). Two outdoor pools. Two wading pools. One water park. 13 tennis courts, 5 baseball diamonds, 18 softball diamonds and 15 soccer fields. Picnic facilities. Playgrounds. PoCo Trail. Terry Fox Library Meeting Rooms. Two outdoor lacrosse boxes. Coordinated the use of 48 ball diamonds and 22 soccer fields. In summary the Port Coquitlam Parks and Recreation Department provides the following seivices: Program planning and development. Human resource dsvelopment-community leadership. Acdvisory/consultative services for voluntary organizations. Development of co-sponsored program opportunities (with community, seniors, outdoor, cultural groups).
