Carried. From the City Engineer, ‘.pril 13th, 1982 regarding tenders for replacement flat deck trucks. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Vater: That the lowest acceptable tender from Pacific G.M.C. Ltd. in the amount of $23,607.09 be approved for the two vehicles to be purchased with replacement reserve funds. Carried. Alderman Wright asked that a report be prepared in due course on propane conversions for the two vehicles. From the City Engineer, April 15th, 1982 regarding a request for access through Routley Park. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That the request from Mr. W.L. Duff of 2114 Elspeth Place, for access through Routley Park be approved subject to a security deposit in- the amount of $5,000.00 being provided to the City to cover possible damage to the park. Carried. From the City Engineer, April 15th, 1982 regarding parking restrictions in the Maple Street parking lot. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That the following parking restrictions apply in the new Maple Street parking lot: a) Two-hour parking 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday on the row of stalls facing Elgin Avenue and facing the lane in the south half of the parking lot, as shown on the attached sketch; Dir. of : Comm.
