During discussion of the foregoing resolution Alderman Traboulay ‘noted that the new City By-law requiring a Landscaping Bond to be posted was helping to eliminate problems such as occurred in the Hawthorne and Kingsway industrial areas and also that the developer had agreed to post such a bond. From the Public Works Committee, July 9th, 1976 recommending that a Pub.Wks.Comm. re Playground Zone ‘Playground Zone' be established on Pooley Avenue from Pitt River Road Pooley Ave. to Taylor Street, as it was felt that the present School Zone designation does not provide sufficient coverage.
