Market since the very begin-

Lena sells wool and wool
products. And if you wander
by. her stall you7ll smell the

delicious aroma of up to 12
types of bread.

‘Lena was born in Denmark
and came to Terrace when she
-was five years old. Her father,
‘Nels Mark, bought a quarter
section thal covered the Chur-
chill Drive and Queensway
area, He raised cattle and
‘sheep.

Now Lena and her sons
Mark and Stephen follow the
“tradition, and raise Liester,
Lincoln cross and border
‘Leicester sheep at Anchors
Away Farm, 23 km east of
Terrace, —

legged variety. Not long ago a
van pulled up beside the pas-
ture and a man climbed the
fence and tried to catch a
lamb.

Good fences, clean bam
yards, and Kuvasz — an East-

dog — help the Chapplows to
ward off predators.
