The current controversy

over Bill 20 has generated

much comment in the
press and on the part of

the. government, Much of.

this comment shows so lit-
tle understanding of the

1 situation faced by teachers

_ that it might be humor-
ous, if our circumstances

‘don’t understand what's
‘wrong with the-proposed
_ College of Teachers. After
all, doctors, lawyers,

Nurses, and engineers all .

have similar organiza-
tions, don’t they? Yes,
they do. But the teachers
- college will be one with a
few major differences.

New mail delivery schedule begins

Postmaster Dale Walker
recently announced: that
beginning today, May 13,
several mail carrier walks
have been restructured
and residents of some

- parts of Terrace may be

receiving mail at a dif-

ferent time of day than

that to which they’re ac-

dog owners who normally
confine their pets at
specific times to allow let-
ter carriers to perform
their deliveries . without
canine harassment. He

said he’s requesting that
dog owners keep their
dogs inside until they’ ve
