2. Location and Siting:

(3s) ALL signs, except directional Signs (off-site) and general advertising

signs, shall be Iccated on the lot of the building, structure or use to vhich
they cefer.

(>) A Freestanding signs zay be located in a required yard, as regulated

the "Siga Recuirecents" section of this By-law.
Sign brojections:

(a) In an Mel Zone, no sign shall project rore than 300 mm (0.98 feet)
herizoarally fron the face or wall of the building to which ir is attached.

(b) In an M+2 Zone, sign projections into required yards shall be as
regulated by the "Sign Requirecents" section of this By-law.

(ce) In all NM Zones, no sign shall project into or over public property.

(2) In aa M-1 Zone, no sign or part thereof shall extend or project above
the roof line of the building to which it ts attached.

{b) In an 4-2 Zone, the saxtcun height of any sign which extends or
projects above the roof line of a building shall be 20 m (6.56 feet).

5. Sign areas and Densities:

(a) The total combined area of canopy signs and facia signs shall not
exceed the following percentage of che area of the wall surface of the building
to which they are artached:

i. 15 perceact in an “1 Zone.

if. 20 perceat in an 4-2 Zone.
