Further to our conversation, | om sending you this letter requesting
approval of the City Council with regards to PoCo Vally Golf and .
Country Enterprises Ltd. applying for a general license, which
means we are applying to have our main lounge opened to the
public. Because of our small number of members, it is just not
economically feasible to keep our main lounge closed ond only for

the use of a handful of members,

I hope you will treat this matter with the urgency it requires.

Dear Sirs: Re: kequest for General Licence - PoCo
Valley Golf & Country Club

. Attached to this letter is a photocopy of a letter dated June ard,
1975 from the PoCo Valley Golf & Country Club and we can advise that when the
same was placed before a regular meeting of the Hunicipal Council of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam held on June Sth, 1975, the following
resolution was passed:

"That the letter trom the PoCo Valley Golf & Country Club, June 3rd,
1975, requesting a general licence in order to open its main lounge to the public,
be deferred until e full Council is present and additional ioformation is
recaived," .

In connection with the last phrase of the resolution quoted above it
would be appreciated if you could forwerd to us 4 copy of the regulations under
which tha general licence is being requested by PoCo Valley Golf & Country Club
together with whatever comments you think are appropriate in the circumstances.
In particular, the members of our Council wish to know whether this request was
being made under the law as it presently exists or under the new legislation that
is expected to come into effect shortly. Additionally, 1£ the licence request
ia being made under legislation presently in effect the merbers of our Council
would be interested in knowing how the new legislation would affect the general
licence operation if PoCo Valley Golf & Country Club are successful {n their
