first-time students will be accapted starting June 14, 1999. This cerlificate
program prepares studants to work with mentally handicapped Individuals
In @ variely of settings. Alt courses are in a distance education
(corraspondense) format and can be combined with full-time employment.

Applicants who are not currently employed In this fleld should have as a
career goal working wih developmentally disabled children ar adults.

The admission requirements are grade 12 graduation, G.E.D,, or mature
‘student status with related work experience.
