She was born In London, England on February 10th, 190, and came to Chicago with her family when she was nine, In 1918 they moved to the Okanagan Valley. She married Fred Fowler In 1921 and moved to Terrace where they lived for six years. tn 1927 the Fowlers moved to Smithers and Mr. Fowler managed, and later owned the Smithers Lumber Yard. During the years they both fook an active part In community affairs until) Air. Fowler's health failed, He passed away June tst, 1974.. Since than Airs. Fowler continued to reside in Smithers. The Fowlers were members of the St, James Anglican Church and Mrs. Fowler was a falthful member of the A.C.W. In which she held various of- fices. during her Ilfe. She was alifemember of the Bulkley Valley Hospital Auxillary @nd an active member of the Sentor Citizens Group, The Bulkley Valley Fall Fair, until the fast few years, counted on her help as one of the directors of the fancy work section. Sha also was 5 former member of the Mystic Jewel Rebekah Lodge No. 42. She leaves ta mourn her loss, threa daughters and one son. She Is survived by her sister Margaret Graham _— of Seattie, Washington, and her brother Sid Spencer of Winatchee, Washington. The funeral service was held at St. James Contre on Thursday, June 4th.
