Meanwhile, the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians is hosting its “Tribute to Shevchenko” as a wind-up to the organi- zation’s B.C. convention, on March 29. The concert, which takes its name from the national liberation fighter and poet, Taras Shevchenko, will feature the Lyonok Trio of singers, the Jubilee Choir, and groups from the AUUC school of folk dancing.
