Il est temps de renouveler votre formulaire
d’inscription pour 2019-20. Ca coute seulement
$10.00. Les membres d’AFFNO peuvent utiliser la
bibliothéque mobile, et aussi, ils regoivent 4 chaque
mois notre E-Nouvelles (E-Newsletter) par courriel
en plus de notre journal imprimé!

Finalement, tous les membres ont la chance de
voter a notre AGA en 2019.

Vous pouvez renouveler votre adhésion pour un,
deux, ou trois ans! Indiquez le si-dessous ($10 par
année). Si vous n’étes pas sir si vous avez déja payé

Tu peux aussi payer par E-transfer, mais
contactez-nous avant de le faire. Une association
est seulement aussi forte que ses membres, alors
essayons d’avoir une trés bonne année 2019!

Calling all members!

It’s time to renew your AFFNO membership
for 2019-20, and it only costs $10.00. AFFNO
members are entitled to use the mobile library, and
also, every month they can receive a copy of the
E-Nouvelles (E-Newsletter) via email, in addition to
our printed newsletter!

Finally, every paid member also has the chance
to vote at ourAGM in 2019.

You can renew your membership for one, two, or
three years! Make sure to indicate below ($10 per
year). If you aren’t sure whether or not you have
already paid your membership for 2019, contact
AFFNO: 250-627-1313, or via email: affno@
citywest.ca. You can also pay by E-transfer, but
contact us first before doing so. An association is
only as strong as its membership, so let’s try to
have a great year in 2019!

“We thought of Haida Gwaii, where
they cut the Immersion program, and they
lost three doctors,” said Gauthier.

“French Immersion, it’s a good pro-
gram, and (with a Francophone School),
there is the chance to offer a choice to
parents.

“Tt’s good for our community.”

It is also possible that finally, Bulkley
Valley Canadian Parents for French might
have success in convincing the School
District 54 (SD 54) to add the immersion
program to the Secondary School.

In Terrace, for example, where the
other Francophone School exists, the two
elementary schools (Mountainview and

Jack Cook) join together in Grade 8 at the
middle secondary school for the immer-
sion program, and it is likely that both
Francophone and Francophile parents
would like to see a similar arrangement in
Smithers in the near future.

Another dream we hope that comes
true.
