Planning and Development Committee — August 16, 1994

That Council -approve an extension of Rezoning Application 11/93 and
Development ‘Permit 12/93 for a period of 4 months, commencing September 12,
1994, subject to payment of a non-refundable fee of $2,150.00 as per the |
provisions of the "Development Procedures Bylaw, 1987, No. 2243".

BACKGROUND:

_ The subject Rezoning and Development Permit application is for the |
construction of a 24-unit apartment building in the Downtown Apartment Area.
» City Council gave Third Reading to Amendment. Bylaw No. 2803 on July 12, 1993...

- The applicant previously submitted a letter requesting a 2 month extension
of hig application until September 12, 1994, which was approved by Council on
July 11, 1994. The applicant has since contacted the Planning Department to
advise that he is encountering some unexpected delays with consultants that
will not enable completion by September 12, 1994. He is requesting an
additional four months to complete all outstanding requirements.
