CLEARING OF TREES

Prior to any development taking place the area needs to be cleared. The
total area to be cleared is 17 acres and this will cost $42,500.

The intent will be to leave trees on the edge of the active area. Attached
" is a diagram of the area to be cleared.

PROPOSAL CALL FOR CONSULTANTS

While the area is being cleared a proposal call to consultants will be sent
out to do the working drawings and costing of the project. The Parks &
Recreation Committee will do the interviewing of the consultants with a
recommendation to Council.

PUBLIC INFORMATION
The Parks & Recreation Department will be sending letters out to
residents who border the park to inform them of the clearing and what

will be occurring.
