DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMITS:

From the City Clerk, July 12th, 1988 regarding Developmeut Variance
Permit No. 49/88 - 2244-2258 Wilson Avenue.

No one was present to speak regarding the Development Variance Permit.

Seconded by Alderman Talbot?

That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his
memorandum of June 5th, 1988 a Voluntary Development Variance Permit be
approved relaxing the requirements of Zoning Bylaw No. 2240, Section 1102, P-2
Zone, Clause (4) Site Coverage from 40 percent to 49 percent.

Carried.

REPORTS:

From Alderman M.D. Gates, July 19, 1988 regarding MacSween Creek
Pitt Lake.

Moved by Alderman Gates:

Seconded by Alderman Tablot:

That the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Fort
Coquitlam request the Ministry of Environment and Parks of the Provincial

Government to accede to the request made by land holders adiacent to MacSween
Creek on Pitt Lake asking that a stream channel improvement project be
undertaken as soon as possible. .

Applications for Tax Exemption.

That the City maintain its policy of not granting tax relief
charitable and or non-profit organizations.

From the Pubiie Safety Committee, July 12th, 1988 regarding Control
Snakes and Rodents.

That City Council authorize the City Clerk to prepare an amendment to
the Pound and Animal Regulation Bylaw, 1970, No. 1020 to control Snakes and
Rodents.
