Speed Watch Program - City of Port Coquitiam

RECOMMENDATIONS:
That this report be received for information.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

As shown on the attached memorandum from the Project/Traffic Technician dated July 22, 1992
the local R.C.M.P. Detachment and 1.C.B.C. will be sponsoring a Volunteer Speed Watch
Program within the City of Port Coquitlam.

Volunteers are supplied with a van and radar equipment. The R.C.MLP. trains volunteers in the
use of the equipment and procedures.

The attached pamphlet explains the Speed Watch Program and the memorandum from the
Project/Traffic Technician lists streets that could be monitored for speeding.
