COPY FOR MAYOR J.M. CAMPBELL, PORT COQUITLAM GREATER VANCOUVER SEWERAGE AND DRAINAGE DISTRICT MEMO March 17th 1978 . C 0 F. R. Bunnell Port Coquitlam Forcemain Following the Chairman's question’ about responsibility for debris piled at the foot of Lobb Avenue in the City of Port Coquitlam I phoned Mr. Finlay of J.K. Cooper Realty to determine the exact lo- cation of the material in question. Mr. Finlay advised me that it was a pile of stumps and other clearing debris located..about 75 feet beyond the end of Lobb Avenue as indicated on the attached drawing SF-1392, Sheet 4. Mr. Finaly said that either he or his company had purchased the property, I believe. from Mr. Erskin, and had understood at that time that the material was to be cleaned up by whoever put it there. The site has been inspected by the Superintendent who also dis-— cussed the matter with. the General Foreman who was in charge of construc~ tion of Port Coquitlam Forcemain in 1974. I am advised that the debris was not placed by the Sewerage District and that any debris resulting from our operations was cleaned up at the time of construction. Our people { H 1 ! i i { t : } have no knowledge of who placed this particular pile of debris on the property. pacts LATE ITEM.
