Re: Proposed Nu-West Development , Following the Public In November 24th, 1976 and delegation to the Counci , The Finley Street subdivision was registered in 1960 and we are not aware of what Subdivision By-law require- ments were in effect at that time. The Norfolk Street sub- division was registered in 1970 and the Cornwall Street subdivision was registered in 1971. The present subdivision of Land By-law was in effect at the time these last two sub~- divisions were registered. ' One of the requirements of our present Subdivision of Land By~law is that cul-de-sacs are not created longer than 500 feet, in excess of 700 feet long. no i i eets otherwise order to conform to the Subdivision of Land Without specif -what should be j will satisfy the requirements of the ; After giving further consideration to previous recommendations , to the Public Information Meeting, to the Cornwall Street delegation, to the Approving Officer's comments, and to traffic and servicing requirements, the Committee recom- mends as follows: , 1. A walkway be required from the north end of Norfolk to the proposed Nu-West collector road. This walkway should be wide enough to accommodate emergency vehicles. 2. Cornwall Street be extended directly north to the preposed Nu-West collector road. . 3. Finley Street be extended directly north to the Proposed Nu-Wést collector road and Finley Street be reconstructed (storm sewer, pavement, curbs, boulevards) to current standards at the expense of Nu-West, VGB/vw V.G.
