Dear Sir:

I am directed to acknowledge your letter of
April 17, 1972, in connection with a resolution of the
Corporation of the City of Port Coauitlam dated April 10,
1972, and to advise you as follows. ;

Your request appears to be essentially the same
as was made to the Railway transport Committee during the
course of its hearing last June of an application of
British Columbia Telephone Compcny for increases in its
rates and charges. In this connection, I enclose a copy
of the Decision of the Railway Transport Committee dated
July 30, 1971, and you will find that this matter was dealt
with on pages 18 and 19 of that Decision. ¥* @riacuen)
