THE B.C, SENIOR Games zone 10 regular monthly
meeting will be held Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at
the Happy Gang Centre.

Memberships will also be available fram May be-
ginning at 1:30 and at the Skeena Mall Saturday,
March 18, from 10 a.m..to 4 p.m.

Interested participanis are asked to sign up before
event playoffs start this month.

The Seniors’ 400 Club Winners for January are Ter-
race’s Art Bennett (#33) and Alton Swim (#44), from
Prince Rupert. February’s lucky winners are Terrace’s
Dianne Cey (#79) and Heather Kirkaldy (#318).

Last Chance draws set

JASON HALDANE and the members of Canada’s Na-
tional men’s volleyball team know which teams
they'll face en route to the Olympic Games in Sid-
ney, Australia,

Canada, ranked number 10 in the world, must beat
The Netherlands, (ranked eighth), Chinese Taipai
(ranked thirty-fourth) and France (ranked fourteenth)
io make the Olympic Games Sept. 16 - Oct, 1.

The Last Chance Olympic Qualification Tourna-
ment will be held July 25-27 in Castelnau-le-Lez

France.

Men’s day at Onion Lake

THE KITIMAT Cross country ski club is offering their
first ever men’s ski day at Onion Lake March 12.

The day starts at 8:30 a.m. with registration and
coffee. By 9 a.m. skiers will be on the snow for les-
sons, All men are asked to bring their own lunch but a
catered dinner and refreshments are provided.

The day is expected to end around 7 p.m. Skiers
will be video taped to improve style and form.

The cost is $57 ($50 for club members), Space is
limited to 30, so register as soon as possible. Call
Terry at 798-2227 or Rob at 635-1661 for more infor-
mation.

Fastball clinics coming

THERE’S never been a better time to play fastball
this summer.

Terrace will be host to the bantam girls fastball
provincials beginning July 7. Terrace minor fastball is
looking for all girls, but especially those born be-
tween 1981 and 1985, who are interested in playing
on the bantam and midget teams. Registration takes
place March 31 in the Skeena Mall.

Fastball organizers are also putting together a
Level II coaches clinic April 7-9, The clinic will be
taught by Canadian national coach Ron Clarke, and
will be followed be a player development clinic.

The group will also be organizing an umpire clinic
Sunday, April 16. Call Kelly at 634-7144 to register.
