Men’s day at Onion Lake THE KITIMAT Cross country ski club is offering their first ever men’s ski day at Onion Lake March 12. The day starts at 8:30 a.m. with registration and coffee. By 9 a.m. skiers will be on the snow for les- sons, All men are asked to bring their own lunch but a catered dinner and refreshments are provided. The day is expected to end around 7 p.m. Skiers will be video taped to improve style and form. The cost is $57 ($50 for club members), Space is limited to 30, so register as soon as possible. Terrace will be host to the bantam girls fastball provincials beginning July 7. Terrace minor fastball is looking for all girls, but especially those born be- tween 1981 and 1985, who are interested in playing on the bantam and midget teams. Registration takes place March 31 in the Skeena Mall. Fastball organizers are also putting together a Level II coaches clinic April 7-9, The clinic will be taught by Canadian national coach Ron Clarke, and will be followed be a player development clinic.
