Sears opens outlet SEARS has opened its new retail sales outict. It’s located in the same space where the company’s catalogue sales op- eration is now. And both are being handled by the same people, Corinna Morhart and Steve Butler. The retail sales outlet is a new venture for Sears which plans to have 60 of them open across Canada by the end of the year. ~ They'll be selling major appliances, home clectronics, floor care products, sewing products and outdoor power - products. The effort is in many ways a re-introduction of what * -ysed to be the case in smaller Canadian centres — sales of certain products combined with a catalogue service.
