SUBJECT: DYKE RIGHT OF WAX AGREEMENT - CITY OWNED PROPERTY

WEST SIDE OF THE COQUITLAM RIVER
(PUBLIC WORKS/TRAFFIC COMMITTEE - OCTOBER 15, 1991)

That his worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the attached Statutory
Right of Way over the western portions of Lot 1, District Lot 397, Group |, New Westminster
District, Plan 68311 and over the western portion of Lot 101 except: firstly: part subdivided by
Plan 63714 and secondly: parts divided by Plan 78712, District Lot 379, Group 1, New

Westminster District, Plan 58743.

In 1990, the dyke was completed along the west side of the Coquitlam River over the easterly
portions of two City owned properties - Lot 1, Plan 68311 and the remainder of Lot 101, Plan
58743. Under the joint Federal/Provincial/Municipal dyke agreement it is the responsibility of
the City to obtain the necessary Statutory Right of Ways for the dyke that was constructed.
