ORDONNANCE NO.

IN THE MATTER OF improvement of the
protective devices at the crossing of the
railway of Canadian Pacific Limited,
hereinafter called the "Railway", and Pitt
River Road, in the District of Coquitlam,
in the Province of British Cciumbia, at.
mileage 1.52 Westminster Subdivision.

UPON reading the submissions filed,

IT IS ORDERED THAT:

1. Within eight months from the date of
this Order, the Railway shall improve the
protective devices at the said crossing, by
the addition of short arm gates and Grade
Crossing Prediction Devices.

2. The said protective devices shall be
improved in compliance with the
requirements of Canadian Transport
Commission General Order No. E-6, C.R.C.
1978, c. 1183.

3. Eighty per cent of the cost of improving
the said protective devices shall be paid
out of the monies appropriated by
Parliament for the purposes of the Railway
Relocation and Crossing Act S.C. 1974, c.
12; twelve and one-half per cent of the
said cost shall be paid by the District of
Coquitlam and the balance of the said cost
shall be paid by the Railway. -

Limitée, ci-aprés désignée "la compagnie
ferroviaire", et du chemin Pitt River,
dans le district de Coquitlam, dans la
province de la Colombie-Britannique, au
point milliaire 1,52 de la subdivision
Westminster,

APRES lecture des piéces déposées,
IL EST ORDONNE CE QUI SUIT:

{. Dans les huit mois de la date de la
présente ordonnance, la compagnie
ferroviaire devra améliorer les
dispositifs de protection audit
croisement par l’addition de barriéres a
bras court et de dispositifs
d'avertissernent de passage a niveau.

2. Lesdits dispositifs de protection
devront &tre améliorés conformément
aux dispositions de l'ordonnance générale
n° E-6 de la Commission canadienne des
transports, C.R.C. 1978, chap. 1183.

3. Quatre-vingts pour cent du codt de
l'amélioration desdits dispositifs de
protection sera prélevé des crédits
affectés par le Parlement aux fins de la
Loi sur le déplacement des lignes et sur
les croisements de chemin de fer, S.C.
1974, chap. 12; douze et demie pour cent
dudit coQt devra @tre paye par le district
de Coquitlam et le reliquat dudit cot
devra 6tre payé par la compagnie
ferroviaire.
