Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, Jad. Keryluk, GR. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R, Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.&. Peters, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, and Parks and Recreation Director KJ. Taylor. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: BL/01/87/03/16/01 Bylaw No. 2239: To rezone Lot 466, District Lot 466, Group One, Plan 58061, New Westminster District and the portion of road shown closed, on the plan attached to the Bylaw, and made part of the "Imperial Avenue Road Exchange Bylaw, 1986, No. 2195", from RS-1 (Single Family Residential) to. RT-1 (Two Family Residential). The property is addressed as 2815 Commonwealth Street (Northwest corner of Imperial Avenue and Commonwealth Street) and would permit the construction of a two-family dwelling on the property. Ms. Anne Shobe, 2857 Commonweal! th Street, stated that she was opposed to the rezoning because it would add to the traffic problems already existing in the area, .
