10 ene mn hak ahead COUNCI THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLA BYLAW NO. 1984 | May 30 1933 A Bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam ly Election Procedure Bylaw, 1971, No. 11750" vil i3 1989 The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meet ing assembled, enacts as fol lows: The first recital of the "City of Port Coquittam Election Procedure Ryiaw, 1971, No. TIS" igs repealed and the fol lowing substituted therefor: "WHEREAS the Municipal! Act, being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1979 as amended, and Particularly Part 3 thereof governs the conduct of Municipal Elections ‘in the City; : Clause (b) of Section 3 of the Bylaw is repealed and the following substituted therefor: , "(b) Notwithstanding the Provisions of clause (a) of this Section each candidate at an election, or the affirmative or contrary interests at a referendum, may erect or place one sign only not exceeding 4.88 m2 (16 sq.ft.) in size at each of the following locations: i District Lot 289, Group 1,°Plan 20R0, ast corner of Shaughnessy Street and. Pitt River That portion of the east boulevard of Shaughnessy: Streat lying south of the lane’ south of Fraser Avenue and being immediately adjacent to Lot 91, District Lot 464, Pian 32852, New Westminster District (east side of Shaughnessy Street, west of Centennial Pool); That portion of the unused Woodland Drive road allowance lying north of Kitchener Avenue (the triangularly shaped portion of Property on tha east Side of Westwood Street, north of Kitchener Avenue, at the’ south end. of Woodland Orive). immediately east of the 2800 Rlock Coast n of property on the aast side of Coast chland Manor where the Cedar Drive ditch for the ten caiendar day period Preceding Poll ing Day." ‘Section 12 of the By law is amended by striking out the Phrase "Part {11 and substituting therefor the phrase "Part 3", Section. 14 of the Bylaw is repeated and the following substituted: "This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Election (Civie) Procedure Bylaw, 1971, No. 1115t,u FINAL READING idl had eth
