Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution discussion was held with Alderman Ranger speaking against the development | | f t t t ; i t i i i as no provision has been made for the existing residential dwelling on a single lot to the east of the proposed development. General discussion ensued with Aldermen Thompson’ and Keryluk expresging the opinion that this development has not had enough study done as to road patterns and parking. Alderman Mabbett advised Council that residents in the area are quite concerned with traffic and the area should be studied for traffic flow. Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the proposed Single Storey Commercial Building Development on Murpole Avenue be referred back to Committee for further study. Carried. Alderman Traboulay voted against the resolution. From the Flanning and Zoning Committee, December 8th, 1977 recommending P & Z Comm. Dec. 8/77 re | the provision Elevator Req/ , that a review of the current policy of Council requiring new Apt. Bldgs of elevators in new apartment buildings of three storeys or higher regardless of the number of dwellings in the building be undertaken by the 1978 Planning and Zoning Committee.
