8th, 1977 the proposed Single Storey Commercial Building Development on
Lot 8 and 9, Block 3, D.L. 379, Plan 1213 (2337 and 2341 Marpole Avenue)
proceed to Public Hearing.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution

discussion was held with Alderman Ranger speaking against the development

as no provision has been made for the existing residential dwelling on a
single lot to the east of the proposed development. General discussion
ensued with Aldermen Thompson’ and Keryluk expresging the opinion that
this development has not had enough study done as to road patterns and
parking. Alderman Mabbett advised Council that residents in the area

are quite concerned with traffic and the area should be studied for

traffic flow.

Murpole Avenue be referred back to Committee for further study.

Carried.

Alderman Traboulay voted against the resolution.
