That the proposed Rezoning from RS~2 to RS—1 of Lot 276, NE, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 47503, and the recommendation from the Planning Officer that the Leisure Activities Committee investigate the possibility of developing the small piece of City owned land located between Pinemont Avenue and Hemlock Crescent as a children's park, be referred back to the Planning and Zoning Committee for further study and reyiew of the Phasing Policy. Carried. From the Environmental Protection Committee, December 2nd, 1977 Environmental Prot. Comm. recommending that the amendment to the Animal Control By-law and the Dec. 2/77 re Animal Control Health By~law to reduce the number of dogs permitted in a household to By-law - dogs a maximum of two without being subject to a kennel licence be adequately advertised and that it come into effect on June 1st, 1978 and that the City Clerk be instructed to prepare the necessary amendments therefor. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That as recommended by the Environmental Protection Committee, December 2nd, 1977 the amendment to the Animal Control By-law and the Health By-law to reduce the number of dogs permitted in a household to a maximum of two without being subject to a kennel licence be adequately advertised. From the Public Works Committee, December 9th, 1977 recommending Dec.9/77 re that the STOP sign installation on the east side of Taylor Street and STOP sign on McLean Avenue be authorized by amendment to the Traffic By-law.
