THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF. PORT The Lieutenant-Governor in Council, Province of British Columbia. The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlan HUMBLY SHOWETH: 1. That the Mumicipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port’ Coquitlam has by By-law No. 1405 cited as the "York Street (Coquitlam to Suffolk ) Road Closure By-law, 1975, No. 1405" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of road dedicated by Plan 2294 therein described; 2. That the said By-law No. 1405 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the Third day of November, 1975 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; 3. That with the exception of the registered owner of Lot 1, Block - 12, Plan 2294, the registered ownera of sll the adjoining and continuous lands have consented to the clogure cf the said portion of road dedicsted by Plan 2294 and the Ccrporation of the City of Port Coquitlam hes agreed to accept title to the land comprised of the same; 4. That in the opinion of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam the registered owner of the efcresaid Lot 1, Block 12, Plan 2294 does not have valid reason for objecting to the Closure of the said portion of Road dedicated by Plan 2294; 5. That the portion of Road dedicated by Plan 2254 described in the said By-lay No. 1405 has never been opened to traffic nox has public money been expended thereon and it ia desirable to clese the said portion of Road to provide for the creation of two residential building sites which will, in due course, and after the completion of the required statutory procedures, be sold by the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam et a fair market value; &. That by Resolution dated the third day of November, 1975, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Lieutenant—Covernor iz Council prsying for the abandonment of the said portion of Road dedicated by Plan 2294 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the absndonzent of the eaid portion of Road dedicated by Plan 2294 described in By-law No, 1405 of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlan. -AND your Petitioner as in duty bound will ever pray, etc. AND dated at Port Coquitlam, British Coluzbia, this Fourth day of Noverbcr, 1975.
