City Hail Renovations: Attached is an agreement between the Federal Government and the City in connection with the City Hall renovations. The total Federal contribution to the project amounts to $21,351.00. A resolution of Council would be in order authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to sign the agreement. 2. Equipment Purchase - Vector Control Officer: | Ralph Palmer has included in his 1972 budget an amount to cover the purchase of some equipment to test water quality. The amount included is $500.00. This cost will be shared by the three municipalities involved in the Simon Fraser of the fact that the budget has not yet been finally approved. The equipment will be used to take preliminary water samples in ditches and streams etc. where poliution is suspected. Where pollution is present, a more detailed laboratory analysis would be required for court purposes, however, the equipment will enable Ralph to do preliminary tests here which we have in the past had to have done by a laboratory in Vancouver.
