SANTA AND his eight reindeer embroiled
in a~ scandalous ~ episode of workplace,
harrasment?

Get ready Terrace for the Terrace Little
Theatre’s 2005-06 season opener, The Eight:
Reindeer Monologues.” -

Director Annette Martindale doesn’t want
to shatter anyone’s warm, fuzzy.images of
the big fella and his loyal sleigh drivers but
; for audience members unprepared for a bar-
rage of risque satire, that just might happen.

“Satire always has a message and this
play’s message is a heavy hitting one,” says
Martindale. “But we don’t want to scare
people away.”

The. message, says Martindale, who also
‘acts in the play, is that our society tends

to stick its collective head in the sand and
chooses not deal with sticky issues.
