Keith McAra, first vice president of the Games committee, chaired the meeting and described travel arrangements. A 47-passenger bus and a 15-passenger van have been chartered to take the seniors to Coquitlam. Some of the seniors will be driving down. Those taking the bus will have an overnight stay in Williams Lake. There will be a total of 86 par- ticipants from zone 10 competing in the Games, an increase from 66 in 1990. The total number of par- ticipants in the Games last year came to 1,400 and it is expected that almost 2,000 seniors will be taking part in the Games this year. McAra commented that one thing he: would like to see is more participation from seniors in the Nass area. Fund-raising, which has involved bake sales, garage sales, raffles and the origin of the 400 club, has raised almost enough money to cover expenses for the seniors. The last winner of the 400 club | draw was Reg Badge and the next draw will be held Aug.31. The Senior Games Committee offered thanks and a donation to the Happy Gang Centre for the generous use of their facility. The seniors in Zone 10, whose slogan is the Biggest Little Zone in B.C., won 18 medals last year. This year they would like to win them all. Webber.
